Foliar selective systemic herbicide designed to combat annual and perennial wheat weeds.
ACTIVE SUBSTANCE: 50 g/l quizalofop-p-ethyl
FORMULATION: Emulsion concentrate
ADVANTAGES: Excellent selectivity to broadleaf crops. The product is quickly absorbed by the weed leaves. Rain falling an hour after treatment does not reduce the herbicidal effect of Tornado 5 EC.
The product is absorbed by the leaves of the treated plants in a few hours. It moves and accumulates in the growth points of weeds, including their rhizomes. Before dying, the weeds acquire a characteristic anthocyanin coloration.
To achieve maximum effect, apply in active weed growth.
In perennial wheat weeds, the effect against rhizomes is enhanced if the dose is divided into two treatments with an interval of 3 weeks.
Depending on the climatic conditions, the after-effect of Tornado 5 EC is a minimum of 2 months.
It can be mixed with most of the plant protection products used in practice.
Given the multitude of formulations, it is good to do a compatibility test between the individual products before mixing.
