A selective, systemic, foliar herbicide that successfully controls economically important corn weeds such as seed and rhizome balura, barberry, field mustard, buttercup and creeping sedge.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: 40 g/l nicosulfuron formulated as a suspension concentrate
FORMULATION: Suspension Concentrate
ADVANTAGES:
Suitable for mixed weeding. Controls a wide range of the most common weeds in corn.
It also suppresses perennial broadleaf weeds.
It is rapidly taken up by the weed leaves and transported by the conducting tissues to the roots, rhizomes and rhizomes. The product inhibits cell division and plant development by blocking the synthesis of amino acids. Weeds stop growing immediately and wilt completely within 2-3 weeks after treatment. Before their complete death occurs, the broad-leaved weeds change their color to red-yellowish, and the wheat acquires an anthocyanin color.
To achieve the maximum effect of the treatment with Logos OD, the bale must be 15-20 cm high, the other wheat and broadleaf weeds must be in the 2nd-4th leaf phase, and the corn must be up to the 8th leaf. Logos OD can also be sprayed twice, with the first treatment being done with 100 ml/ha, and the second – 15-20 days later – with 50 ml/ha.
Thanks to the systemic action of Logos OD, rain after the treatment does not reduce its herbicidal effect. We recommend spraying Logos OD with a tractor sprayer with 25-30 liters of water per hectare. It is desirable to work at low pressure so that the mist from the solution does not drift onto sensitive crops.
Logos OD should not be used when corn has been treated with products based on bentazone or organophosphorus insecticides. Avoid its use when the crop is stressed by atypically high or low temperatures, as well as in poor physiological condition.
Logos OD can be mixed with herbicide 2.4D – (125ml LOGOS + 100ml 2.4D).
Logos OD is approved in Bulgaria to fight against:
